Zachary's hospital experience

So, on Friday morning poor little Zachary was running a fever of 102. I called my doctor and he said that babies 90 days and younger should never run a fever. So, off to the ER, 8 hours later Zachary was admitted to the hospital. Apparently Zach's white blood cell count was high, ( which means infection) and they wanted to observer him overnight. Well, Saturday morning Zachary's levels were even higher, so we had to do the lumbar puncture test. The good news is that Zachary doesn't have meningitis. Nor does he have rotavirus. They could never tell us what he had just what he didn't have. So, after 2 1/2 days in the hospital, Zachary is feeling better.
